  • By WordPress standards, ANY category that has been designated a Parent category is not meant to be checked in the category hierarchy when writing posts. Meaning, only the latest generation category should be checked. Think of it like this, only the youngest generation gets the action.

So a subcategory doesn’t have his own ID?
I don’t understand, a subcategory has his own ID, so why is it not checked in the category hierarchy?

So you’re saying there is no possibility to show all the titles of the posts from one subcategory?

If you have a category structure such as:
    grandparent/parent/child

then a post should only have the child category checked.

And if you do it that way, will the plugin then work for you?

    Off course! So easy!

Now I see what you mean.

    Problem solved ??

    Thanks.
