• After some initial frustrations with the Lite version I bit the bullet and bought a license.

It’s the best solution for Mailchimp at the moment so rude not to.

p.s. Apologies for the harshness of my initial review, it was unfair. Keep up the good work!

    Hi Richard,

Sorry to hear you feel like this. The Lite version takes all required fields into account so you will always be able to create a working sign-up form for your website.

Secondly, the “Add MailChimp field” tool is just to help you generate the HTML for your form. You can always choose to generate your own HTML, allowing you to use whatever kind of HTML structure you like and thus not limiting you to anything.

Thirdly, this plugin is in no way a trial. It is a fully featured plugin which helped thousands of users save time (just look at the reviews). You certainly don’t have to upgrade to the premium version.

Anyway, should you have issues generating the correct form HTML feel free to open a support topic and I’d be happy to help you out. I hope you will give the plugin another chance and adjust your review accordingly.

    Thanks!

    Danny

Ugh, rating a product 1-star instead of just opening a support thread isn’t cool. C’mon dude. The rating system isn’t supposed to be used this way. If your issue is really this simple, open a thread first, leave a bad review later. Some of these developers make a living off of reviews and 1-starring a plugin that has active support and plenty of great free features at the “free” tier just sucks.
