I have spent countless months trying to make Buddypress be user friendly – but to no avail. It really is a weird collection of features that don’t really go well together and customizing it is a nightmare. The profiles look like crap as well

I then I tried various membership/social network plugins (some paid, some free) and they were all good to some degree, but I kept running into problems here and there with them. The code was usually very sloppy, bad CSS, or they slowed my site down tremendously.

Then I found Ultimate Member and it is the cleanest, fastest, and most properly coded plugin I have encountered. They respond to issues almost immediately, or at most a couple hours later if it’s after-hours. The profiles look phenomenal, and the extra features they add almost weekly are terrific.

I have found the ultimate social network plugin for WordPress, and this is it. You won’t be disappointed, in fact you’ll be very happy to have found this solution. Even if it’s just to have nice looking profiles!
