    Hello,

After activating the LiteSpeed plugin I’ve got a message on the top of the plugins page to add certain code to the core htaccess. Could someone please advise me what does the message mean and how to do that? I’m afraid or almost pretty sure I’d mess up and cause more troubles ad I do not know what does that mean and how to do that. I’m happy to provide more info. Thank you very much!

    Hello,

For some reason, I cannot see the message anymore. I tried to deactivate and activate again to see if it appears, but it does not.

However, there are two messages that might concern me so I’d kindly ask you to advise regarding those, please.

The first one (on the top of the page) – /wordpress/core/5.8.1 file not writable.
The second one (in plug-in’s settings) –

Can you please advise me if and what should I do with that? Thank you ver much ??

    Hello,

I’ve done as you said ??
Please find the screenshot in the link below. It is the whole message that appeared after the activation of the plugin. The code in the window is much longer and I’ve copied that if needed.
    Thank you for your advice.

    Hi,

this is most likely indicates you have permission error or file ownership error

please check with your hosting provider , they should be able to rectify this
