Litespeed cache not working?

Hi.

First of all 2 words about the new WordPress site interface, it took me 30 minutes to figure out just how to log in, this says it all.

Now, my main question about the plugin.
Recently I switched to Hostinger host which uses LiteSpeed servers and the Litespeed cache plugin comes preinstalled on every WordPress installation.
Originally I used WP Rocket, but I had the opportunity to try this free plugin.
I did not have much time to configure it properly and I just tried all preinstalled plans, including the extreme settings as they are by default.

But, I’m afraid that there was no caching at all, how else could you explain the 32-34 seconds that my site took to full load on the Vancouver server in GT Metrix? Can you explain this?, I mean this sounds ridiculous, and remember I use CDN.

Now the site is back to WPRocket and takes 2-3 seconds to load giving an A performance grade and all Core web vitals green( despite the AdSense scripts which make it very heavy, and despite that the Adsense scripts are not delayed!)

Litespeed, after all the reviews I have read, was an unbelievable disappointment unless I am missing something.
