so I want to make litespeed cache to work along nicely with the CDN plugin (wp compress) that I use. Problem is, when I turn on wp compress, in gtmetrix, it become very slow, and the culprit is that the page’s litespeed cache control turn to no-cache

this makes the site really slow, and when I uninstall wpcompress, it go back showing the cache.

please help. I also are asking for help if the developer of wp compress know something, but it’s really hard to crack this down.

While in other site, I tested using wp force ssl & cloudflare, then using litespeed + wp compress, somehow it now goes along nicely and the page are changed to Hit while using both, but I can’t replicate it in the current site.

oh, and I watched the video, the strange thing is in my own browser and the test using https://www.webpagetest.org/, it shows cache hit.

but using gtmetrix & pingdom, it shows no-cache.

That’s why I’m rather confused why different test location shows different result

I watched your video and how the video demonstrate how to fix it when the log says what is the problem. In this case :

so I don’t how to fix LSCACHE_NO_CACHE constant defined, and not cacheable before ctrl finalize. Is there a setting for it?

Using additional plugins to compress whatever is obsolete. LiteSpeed cache plugin already does what you like to get, but you need to have it enabled and to configured it.

@serpentdriver hi, I’m not using wp compress to “compress” the css, js, etc. I understand that.

I’m just simply using wp compress to offload the images from my site to their cdn (bunny cdn). I also know I can register the quic.cloud account, I’ve also tested that, and after testing it, I prefer the image optimization & cdn from wp compress. Just the image.

I already set it up so that wp compress Does not minify css, js, etc, so that part is not redundant.

The question in this thread is simply why does when wp compress turned on, on gtmetrix, it shows that the page is set to no-cache. On my previous post, I’ve pasted the LOG from Litesspeed when accesed through GTMetrix, and.. well I want to ask for help here since when it’s said LSCACHE_NO_CACHE constant defined , I don’t know where to look to “remove the constant” of some sort? to make it work.

try search the word “LSCACHE_NO_CACHE” in your plugins/theme files , see what you find.

found it, thx @qtwrk , it’s exactly as you said , there’s a line in the plugin :
