    Hi,

    1. I have turned the QUIC.cloud CDN option to ON.
    2. Use CDN Mapping is OFF.
    3. I don’t use any type of CDN like Cloudflare etc.
    4. I have added //*my-domain.com to the Original URLs field.
    5. Everything else is set to default values.

Should this be enough to load the images, JS and CSS on my website using CDN? The CDN is provided by LiteSpeed right?

How can I check if the CDN is working properly?

    I tried to visit my-domain.com/path-to-image.jpg and cdn.my-domain.com/path-to-image.jpg.

    1. my-domain.com/path-to-image.jpg loads properly.
    2. cdn.my-domain.com/path-to-image.jpg does not load.

Does this mean that the CDN is not working?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

You need to link your domain to QC dashboard , and then change your DNS record in order to use QUIC cloud as your CDN.

    Thanks qtwrk,

Do I need an account on QUIC.cloud to do “You need to link your domain to QC dashboard” this?

“change your DNS record in order to use QUIC cloud as your CDN”. I have do this in the dashboard of my domain registerar? Right?

I have one more question about changing the DNS. Since, CDN will only serve Images, CSS and JavaScript. How will my actual website serve the pages if the DNS is not pointed to it?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Yes, you will need to create an account there if you want to use QC CDN.

Yes , you need to do it where you manage your DNS (usually it’s same place where you bought domain.)

How will my actual website serve the pages if the DNS is not pointed to it?

I am not exactly sure your last question?

    Thanks @qtwrk ??

I meant to say that, once I change the DNS records, it will point to LiteSpeed servers. Now, LiteSpeed servers are meant to cache and serve static resources like images, JavaScript and CSS.

The rest of the webpage will still be served by the servers where my website is hosted. However, the DNS records are not pointed at the servers of my webhost. So, will my website still work normally?

    Thanks.

    Hi,

still not sure what you mean.

let’s say , as example , QC asks you to update your DNS to “111.111.111.111” , while your original setting is “222.222.222.222”

you will need to either set your DNS to QC’s record, or set your original record

    Best regards,
