Live Comment Preview and DreamHost

    I recently switched to DreamHost, because I couldn’t pass up on that great deal they were having (year of hosting for $9).

    Anyway, I am using the latest version of Live Comment Preview, but when I switched hosts, it stopped working. Is anyone else who is using DreamHost having this issue? Maybe it’s something I did wrong with my configuration? I am pretty much using the default WordPress theme, with the latest version of the plugin.

    I am also running PHP-CGI, rather than PHP as an Apache module. Does that make a difference? Any help on this matter is appreciated. Thanks.

  • I use Dreamhost and the live comment preview works on one of my blogs and not the other. I have no idea why!

    That is strange, indeed.

    I’ve recently switched to Dreamhost and have only just realised Live Comment Preview isn’t working for me either! Odd, as it was working with my previous host.

    I’m running PHP-CGI as well. Must be a DH specific issue.

    I think I figured it out. Go into your DreamHost Control Panel, and go to Manage Domains. Edit your domain to run PHP 5, and the plugin should then work. Let me know if you guys have any success with that.
