Live Comment Preview Plugin Help Please

    Hi there.

    I am using Live Comment Preview 1.7 successfully on one blog (www.superjux.com)–it works both in IE and Firefox. I recently installed it on another blog (www.noshwithme.com) and it will only work in IE.

    Any ideas?

    Did you install the same version (1.7) onto the new site or did you install the 1.8 version? The latest version of Live Comment Preview has been known to have issues. I am currently sticking with the 1.7 branch as that seems to work with no problems.

    I tried 1.8 but it was REALLY goofy so I downgraded back to 1.7.

    Downgrading or sticking with an earlier version of something is usually not recommended, but I myself use this plugin and 1.8 sucks. I have had no problems with 1.7 and I continuously ignore the upgrade message in the upgrade panel ??

    Ditto.

    Any idea as to why it won’t work in FF though?

    You can try viewing this thread which just confirms the problems people have been having with 1.8.2 https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/145805?replies=14 but I have no ideas why it does not work.
