I have a weird problem. I visited the site and it suddenly looked way different than it was before. I had a look in live editor and the page looks exactly like I designed it…

Banner should be much bigger with white text over it. Icons should be aligned three in a row. Also, footer widgets got moved to sidebar, therefore disappeared from footer.

Here is a screenshot of how it supposed to look: https://we.tl/87qn4kkhui

I tried rolling back page builder related plugins, turning on/off all plugins (all together and on by one), changing themes…
I think the problem is not in the theme (this site uses Flash), because twentyseventeen looks almost the same.

Do you have any idea how i can fix it?
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi vladduma,

This looks to be a caching issue. Basically, the page has been updated but the cache has, for whatever reason, not been regenerated. Please try either resaving the page (you may need to make a change or two to force the page cache to regenerate) or try manually clearing page cache to resolve this issue.

    Hi @alexgso

I have already tried modifying & re-saving the page multiple times. Also turned off all cache/optimization plugins.

Just now removed wp-content/cache/ folder via ftp, but it is still the same. Of course browser cache is cleaned as well.

Yesterday we have changed hosting provider, can this be a problem?

    Hi vladduma,

Are you using any DNS based caching like CloudFlare?

Was this issue occurring on the other previous provider? If so, it’s possible your new hosting provider introduces a server side caching solution that isn’t being cleared.

So, no DNS is used, new hosting uses cPanel, that is not using any caching solution. And I did not notice any problems before. Another website that is using the page builder is working fine..

But it is fixed now. First I tried to create a staging clone to see if there gonna be any difference. Did not work. After this, I simply restored a backup I created yesterday and everything is back to normal.

As usually with wordpress, no idea what it was and how exactly it got fixed…
But thanks for your support and I hope this thread will help someone else.
