Live Rates Intermittently Not Working

  • I keep getting orders with local pickup selected and customers stating that there were no shipping options available.

    I have confirmed this issue myself. It seems to be sporadic and random, but obviously is a big issue.

    Is it happening for the same postal code or different ones?

    One of the possible issues might be that postal code or address is invalid, in this case some carriers will refuse to return any rates.

    Other possible issue is that ShipStation API has some temporary technical issues, in this case you can’t do much on your end to fix that.

    My suggestion is to use Flexible Shipping Per Package plugin which has a special feature when it will display pre-configured rates when no other rates are available.

    Completely random. It’s happened several times to various customers in completely different locations.
