Live search is not working

Hi,
I just install golder cart, and when I trying to use the live search widget, and use it, it gives me the following error:
THERE ARE NO PRODUCTS IN THIS GROUP.
please let me know how can I fix this or there is a missing configurations I have to do 1st.
