    Hi,
    I have a website that hosts a Minecraft server, and I was wondering how to post live updates from an external source, and have it update live on the site as a widget or some short-codes.
    Any suggestions?

  • When I need to do this, I usually write a little PHP script to grab the data from the external source and write the HTML to a file, then set up a cron job on the server to run the PHP script at the interval I want to use to update the data. You can also see if the external source offers an RSS feed or some API to get the data you want. It really depends on the nature of the external source and the kind of HTML output you want.
