Live Writer posts not formatting correctly in WP

Thanks to the posts on this forum, I’ve just discovered Live Writer and on first impression it looks like a great tool. However, I’ve run into a problem on my very first post.

When I publish anything produced in Live Writer, the output on my blog is just a line of hmtl code.

My wordpress blogs are hosted on a dedicated server by The Planet. I have read some posts that this happens on hosted servers, but I can’t find a solution. Does anyone have any new updates or solutions?
