livepress

  • Livepress used to work for me (using wp v1.2.1), and after re-installing wordpress, I can’t get livepress to synch anymore.
    I’ve reinstalled livepress, entered in my LJusername and md5 password, and activated the plugin, and nothing with cross-post over to livejournal.
    any ideas?
    has anyone gotten LivePress to work with WP v1.3 ?

    Uh, your database is probably set up for 1.3 alpha, and not 1.2.1. If you backed up your DB prior to the upgrade, which everyone ALWAYS does (lol) then you should restore it. It may well be that it’s the database itself that is causing you the grief. I think that simply trying to go “back” from 1.3x is not recommended unless you can completely restore everything from backups. However, I may be wrong on this point, so I’ll gladly be corrected!

    did a fresh install with new tables of WP1.2.1, imported in the posts and stuff, and finally got livepress to work and crosspost correctly !
