Load blog from wordpress.com into a self install
-
Hi, all.
I’m wondering if there is a plugin or hack I could use to load a personal blog hosted on wordpress.com within a .org install. The reason for this is to cut down on CPU use at my host while still managing to hold on to the thematic control a self install allows.
To explain with examples: I want to have https://garyploski.wordpress.com/ clickable in as a menu item so that it loads blogs on https://garyploski.com/ with the content appearing as it would on wordpress.com (with images, etc.). I’m not sure how an RSS import would work. I don’t want a list of titles and snippets of each blog.
I understand that if someone clicks on a blog URL it will load at the .com link but that isn’t the concern presently. Blogging more often without losing access to my site is.
Many thanks for your suggestions and ideas.
