I know it wasn’t a very well thought out question. I would like to move a directory and all of its sub folders to my site at one time. I can move one file at a time but I’m having trouble moving a whole directory.

Zip them up.

Can you move them using FTP? That is what I would do when trying to move file directories and their sub files.
