• Hi guys! I hope you are doing well. I’m a fellow WP dev. This is more of a suggestion than an actual support request.
Given that Google will be introducing significant changes in their mobile-friendly algorithm as of April 21st, I was wondering if you ever considered resorting to loadCSS or a similar tool to load the minified CSS files generated by W3TC asynchronously.
The way the plugin currently works now, PageSpeed Insights reports the dynamically generated files as render-blocking, so perhaps resorting to such a tool will have a significant impact on speed.
    LMK what you think.
    Thanks!

  • I didn’t read all of the info regarding this method, but I was wondering if that would work with CSS that isn’t minified. In my case, there are CSS specific to Woo Commerce that can’t be minified because doing so breaks the site. My site still scores well in Google Page Speed, but the mobile version speed score is affected because of the render blocking CSS I mentioned.

I’d like to know more. If it’s possible to asynchronously load the CSS I don’t have minified, that would be worth trying.

    Thanks.
