Load more posts button

  • Hi everybody!

    Since my website has the shape of a magazine, in the homepage I am using only the “Latest Blog Posts” layout to display as much content as possible in the minimum space.

    I have activated the option to show 8 posts, and the problem here is that with every new post the first one disappears and since there isn’t any kind of “Load more” or pagination button, my readers might miss the old content.

    Is there any option to show a load more button or an infinite scroll plugin that could work? I am not really good with CSS.

  • Hey, There isn’t an option for an infinite scroll with the free theme. You can use the “page content” and make your home page the latest posts page in settings > reading (that will give you pagination) but again with the free theme you won’t get the two columns that way.

    I suggest making the home page static and adding a button right to the page content. Then link the button to your blog page and have it say something like view more.
