Load post in header

  • Hey guys,

    I have a question that is probably very ease for programmers, but since I’m not a programmer I’m strugling with something.

    I want the content of a specific post to be loaded in the header. My client wants to have a notification in the header which she can change herself. So it should be a post or something which is easily editable from the backend.

    I’ve tried searching and tested with <?php $content = get_the_content(3076); ?> but that didn’t work. Can anyone help me out please?
