Load styles and scripts only on relevant pages

We are using Smart Slider on our index page. However the scripts and styles load on every single page.

Each page in header loads:
– style.min.css

Each page in footer loads:
– some inline script twice. Not sure why this script is loaded twice.
– frontend-bundle.min.js

Is there a way to load these styles and scripts only on the home page
