Load the portfolio with a shortcode?

  • I need to load the portfolio on the home page, along with more content.
    How can I load the portfolio with a shortcode? to insert it in the home page.

    If there is another method of programming, I would like to know. Since I need this in the portfolio loaded on the start page and not on a separate page.

  • I would like to ask a similar question. Can I add a single gallery to a page/post via shortcode? I need to use pages or posts for genesis featured pages/posts on homepage.

    And if the portfolio page is not my homepage, can I just have one category showing on the portfolio page?

    Maybe no shortcode option?
