    Hi,

I have RSS feeds from nu.nl on my website: beursvandaag.nl

I have installed the plugin: RSS Post Importer and now I have the RSS feeds op nu.nl on my website.

I installed your plugin and hoped I got the featured images in my posts, but unfortunately it doesn’t work.

I have installed the plugin and changed the featured image size to medium and kept the image left above text and hit on save.

    No succes.

I hope you can help me.

    Kind greetings,
    Jeroen

  • Hi Jeroen,

Always troubleshoot by viewing the blog’s raw RSS feed. I don’t see the images in your feed, so it looks like either the plugin isn’t activated, or the posts do not have a Featured Image set properly. You need to click on a post, and see if the Featured Image is set. If not, you need to set them. There are plugins that might be able to help set them in bulk from the first image found in the body.

    Hi Rob,

Thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately there are no Featured Images set. You think it that nu.nl simply doesn’t includes any Featured Images? I’ve downloaded RSS Image Feed, which hopefully shows the first images spotted on the nu.nl website.

    Jeroen

I don’t there’s a way for the post importer to import and set Featured Images, unless they were included in the RSS feed itself. Good luck, importing RSS feeds to create your own posts is a tough way to go if you want them to have images, and their images in your own feed. Be sure you have necessary permissions for copying etc as well, I’ve seen people get emails from lawyers for copying photos etc.

    Hi Rob,

Again thanks for your quick reply. I will keep that in mind.

    Thanks again.
