• is it possible that the script is only starting to check for new comments after a new comment was really somewhere done,

after an upload of a new comment could be a switch to start that, otherwise it will wait until a new comment was done and not running all the time.

I have set the iddle time to 10.000 ms, but that is in case of a new comment from a user quite long, and in case without new comments not necessary to run at all.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @matthy99,
Thanks for your comment. I’m not sure if I get all the details right. In order to “know” if a new comment was posted, the client frequently has to contact the server and ask for new comments. Technically, there is no way to push this information from the server to the client. What’s the problem with this periodically pulling?
    Best regards,

    ok – thanks,
then I would suggest, to have a check in the settings to switsch on/off the popup “Loading comments, pls. wait”,
basically there is no problem, but its not really nice looking,

your plugin is really good working – no question – thanks for that

Thanks @matthy99 for the feedback. We added this functionality into our backlog. If you would like to sponsor the development if this feature, please contact us at https://weweave.net/s/contact.
