    Good morning,

I’ve got a custom organized list outside of the plugin that I would like to be able to load the CSS from the plugin so it shows the created list in the same format. Is it possible to do this? I saw in 3.4 you made it so it detects and loads the JS and CSS only on plugin pages. I put the link to the stylesheet in the template page I was using but I didn’t know if this was the best way to do it or if there was some way I can tell BDP to load the CSS in the head instead of me manually loading it in the body.

Thank you for your time and your awesome plugin!

    Hi Jeremy,

Have you tried using the custom CSS file (in which you can paste your CSS)? Here is an article about how to use custom CSS with Business Directory in a way that doesn’t get overwritten on upgrade of BD: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/support-forum/faq/how-to-use-custom-styles-with-bd-2-1/

That will always be loaded on all BD-specific pages.

It loads fine on the BD pages. I have a page that is outside of the BD loop, but it loads some of the BD custom fields. I just didn’t know if there was a way to “poke the bear” so to speak and get the CSS to load on a page that wasn’t part of the BD plugin. I don’t need to change any of the CSS, just load what currently exists. If I do a custom one will it load on pages that aren’t officially part of the BD loop?

Thank you for your quick response,
    -Jeremy

If you’re trying to load BD content outside of BD pages, you’ll need to manually add the BD includes on those pages. We optimized BD to stop doing what you’re looking to do because it had a performance lag on some sites.
