Loading gallery2 and applying it to a single page

I have downloaded WPG2.

Installation instructions are very clear.

Looks like I just need to know how to install and upload Gallery2 to server.

There can no way but technical to answer your questions. FTP Gallery2 either to a folder or subdomain in your site. Gallery2 uses TPL for templates, different animal than PHP templates. Not too hard to learn, just a different template approach which would require you to copy some HTML and CSS from WP Theme onto Gallery2 Theme OR integrate Gallery2 onto WP site which is more technical or involved than you might expect despite plugin to bridge two applications.

My concern is what folder to upload. From your answer does that mean I’ll upload to the wp folder that also contains:
cgi-bin
modlogan
webalizer
wp-admin
wp-content
wp-includes
