Loading widget asynchronously

I was wondering, if it’s possible to edit the code, so widget could load asynchronously, to speed up overall site’s loading time. I don’t really have time to study the code of plugin, but I’m pretty sure, it can be done using jQuery. Is there anyone willing to help me with this task? ??
