Loads default image

Works awesome except when I specify a default variation the images for that variation load even when I go direct to a different variation. Deselect a default product variation and everything works fine except when people click on the product in the shop front end it does not select any variation (of course as no default is specified) but this looks bad as there is no add to cart button until a variation is selected.
