Loads of spam! How to remove 550.000 spam questions?

  • Hi there. I just found around 550.000 spam questions in our application, all generated by your plugin. Please, tell me how to buk remove all that waste and the tags generated along the questions. Thanks

    You can use the https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/bulk-delete/ plugin to delete the question or delete the author of the spam questions.

    I just started using this plugin and quite surprised that in this day and age, not much thought was given to some basic security measures:

    1. Email: It seems like the person asking question can practically put in anyone’s email (NOT GOOD)
    2. Weak Captcha: The name says it all

    Is this a deliberate attempt to bait and attempt to try and convert customers into paying for the plugin?

    I should have figured… $99 just to get the DW plugin?
    Definitely not my $99.
