Local Install Weirdness… Please Help!

  • Hello, newbie here.

    I am trying a fresh local install. I have followed the instructions from many sources (www.ads-software.com included) and am stuck.

    I am using WAMP. I got to the installation screen, clicked install and it just hangs…forever… and it does not give me a username or password.

    Somehow; I am able to see my blog (through “My Projects” on WAMP) but I can not login (no username or password) to access the admin section.

    Any ideas?
