    Hi,

    Can you check the following:

    • You don’t have the ‘Amazon Link Extra – Spoof Locale’ plugin installed.
[Check the Installed Plugins Admin Screen]
    • You have the latest ip2nation database installed:
[Check on the Amazon Link Settings page it provides a warning if it is not]
    • Check what your IP address is resolving to visiting https://www.ip2nation.com

    Can you also provide:

    • The shortcode you are using and
    • The template content if not one of the defaults.

    Cheers,

    Paul

Thanks for your help, Paul. I installed spoof local and it works.
    Another question though:
    1. Is it possible to display by category with bestselling for the first rank or best rank 3 items?
    2. Can (1) display along its prod preview?

Currently I have the codes and it displays for specific ASIN. I would like to have it show by category for 3 items of the category as bestselling products in thumbnails.
    [amazon template=thumbnail2&asin=B004J3V90Y,B00BF9MUBM,B00AWYMXZY,B00EFILPHA]
    [amazon template=preview script]

    thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I have had a quick go at this and can’t get the results that I want.

If you can come up with a AWS request that will give you the results you want then I can build it into the plugin.

Try having a play around with the scratchpad, located here: https://associates-amazon.s3.amazonaws.com/scratchpad/index.html

You may need to edit the ‘Request’ (on the right hand panel) to add the parameters you want. e.g. I added Sort=SalesRank and BrowseNode=17 but I doesn’t seem to order them.

Check out the documentation at: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AWSECommerceService/2011-08-01/DG/ItemSearch.html.

    Good luck!

    Hi,

Sorry in answer to your second question:

Yes, adding the preview script should affect all Amazon links on the page, providing the preview.

(Although it may not work on all locales – I haven’t checked recently).

    Paul
