local MAMP PRO doesn't show Permalinks
-
Hi there mates, probably this situation has already been discussed. But I’m quite new here, and with WordPress as well. The problem that I’ve been experiencing is the folloring:
I got successfully (I though) clone my live WordPress site to a local one using MAMP PRO in a Mac running Mavericks 10.9.2. The main idea is to develope my own theme and handle all editions from the local server to the live server.
I started developing the main page, simple one (horrendous at the moment) and it works amazing on the local server (that’s what I want), but when adding the
<?php wp_nav_menu();?> the problem started to happen.
I got displayed in the local webpage the navigation. At the moment I’ve just got the ‘Sample Page’ and if I click over it the browser (using Safari or Chrome) it seems to load but doesn’t display anything.
I was reading some posts, even from here that requested to modify the ‘.htaccess’ and ‘FollowSymLinks’ is now set to ‘AllowOverride All’ but the problem persists. If you have got this same issue, using MAMP PRO + Local WordPress with Live WordPress site cloned + Mac 10.9.2 I will really appretiate any help. Any assistance.
It’s quite frustraiting.
