  • Why would you tax a local pickup option anyway?
    Surely if you are not providing a service ( as the customer is picking up the item, you would not charge tax on this ).

    I probably detracted from the issue here.

    That’s my states law. I have a store and if anything is taken out of the store it must be taxed. If I ship to another state I don’t have to.

    Looking for the exact same thing.

    rotnatws is correct, in the United States you MUST collect sales tax on items received by the customer in your base state, whether shipped or picked up directly.

    Sales tax based on shipping location varies state to state.
