local site not working after zip download

Do you have full documentation for using your plugin anywhere – I just can’t get it working!!!
Tell a lie – I did the same server test and it worked perfectly; but when I download as a zip to use offline, the index file simply does not open. It’s generally a blank browser window with a constantly flickering reload icon! The folder structure looks just as I’d expect but the index page seems to be stuck making infinite requests. It also looks like a fully populated page source – so I think I must be missing something.
I’ve tried the same thing on another site with an equal degree of failure:(
What am I doing wrong?

Hi Jason,
The local offline option still has a few issues, it is likely JS or CSS not being properly loaded from the homepage (check your browser console to see any 404’s/assets that failed to load).
I’m working on version 6 now, which is a major rewrite of the plugin and will make for much improved exports locally and improvements to the others).
Try Simply Static plugin for your offline needs for now.
