And what about by direct IP.

Assuming it’s a window PC, what’s your hosts file look like?

I can access the pc by name or by ip address. but I’ll get operation timeout using either https://pcname/blog or https://ipaddress/blog

Found out what the problem was. The firewall was blocking access to the computer. Modifeid the firewall config and now it works fine.
