Localhost testing – how to keep track of changes?

  • I have a public site, but I use a local version to try out changes before I make them live. Is there a tool (like CVS) that I can use to keep track of the changes I’ve made and then only apply the changes to the live site?

    Does anyone have a tool or favorite way of doing this in WordPress?
