Localhost URL Not working

Hi everyone, im extremely stressed right now with trying to get my wordpress site swithced from my local host to hostgator.

My biggest problem to date is the fact that i have went onto my dashboard and changed the link to access my dashboard. i thought i was changing it for when the site gets up and running so all the permalinks will be correct with my site name in the url. But iv just totally broken it and ive tried a few methods to try fix it but it will not work.

Can someone please help me with this and put it in easy to understand english as im not good when it comes to any code what so ever.
