Localization problem – can’t find translation

    Hi,

    I have set up a blog in German, using the original English WP version (2.02) plus the current de_DE.mo. The theme is a re-written Red Train 1.0 variant and itself contains no localizations.

    I get a comment sending button text translation (“Anfrage senden”) which I can’t find ANYwhere. Not in the theme files, not in the PHP, not in the .mo file.

    As I am using the original English WP with the German .mo file, I wonder where this got injected. I may have to add, that this blog is an update from a purely German 1.5 distribution.

    Can it be in the database?

    I found the solution myself. It has to do with the theme and whether or not it sets a value for this send button. Red Train does not. So the solution was adding “value=”senden””.
