Localize Resources stopped work

    Hi!

    I was using this featured in some sites, and it was great for hosting locally the Google Analytics JS.

    But since a month ago it does not work anymore. The JS is there, but the Console warns a 404 error for that.

    What can be done to workaround, please?

    Please check if you have .htaccess file in /wp-content/ ?

    Hi!

    Yes I do.

    It seems that Short Pixel plugin put it there.

    But there is no rules at all, only comments.

    Hi,

    Yes, please delete that file , then it should work

    localized files relies on main .htaccess to pass the request to index.php , but when sub-dir .htaccess exists it will override main .htaccess and make it haywire.
