Location Dropdown

    Hello all,

    I’m trying to figure out if it’s possible to have a dropdown of the US States and then if say I just a state, the jobs for that states shows up in the list?

    In the demo, I see a location keyword search, but not a dropdown.

  • Hi Chris! A dropdown menu like you’ve described isn’t a built-in feature of the plugin, and not one we’d be able to help you add.

    That said, almost anything is possible, depending on how much customization you’re willing to do ?? WP Job Manager is intentionally lightweight, so it can be extended in a variety of different ways. For example, we have a tutorial here on how you might create a custom job search form: https://wpjobmanager.com/document/developer-reference/code-snippets/tutorial-creating-custom-job-search-form/ that might help point you in the right direction to accomplishing your desired option for the location search field on the job search form.
