Location Information

  • Instead of using the Petango plugin for PetPoint, we have decided to use your plugin for our Shelter. On our existing custom site, the customization pulls in pets for the locations of the pet for the adoption shows each week. Is there anything switch that can be added for the PetFinder listings to show the same?

    Hi – The Petfinder Listings plugin is targeted to shelters that want to show all their adoptable pets on their website. You can separate by type of animal, breed or age. Are your locations under different shelter ids in Petfinder? If not, I don’t know if the Petfinder API supports what you are trying to do. Location is a parameter the Petfinder API can take, but I don’t have the parameter as part of my plugin, and I’m not sure how the Petfinder API handles both shelter ID and location. Without the Shelter ID, you’d get pets from any shelter that match the location.
