Location is not working

I assume you did not click on a result from the dropdown if you searched for an address? Otherwise the location on the map will not update (FYI: this will change with the next release, allowing also to select an address by pressing enter for example)

Where is the dropdown you are referencing? Not seeing any dropdown when I’m in my dashboard creating a new marker with the Maps Marker plugin. I add a “Location” address and click “Update”, but the map continues to show Wien.

If you start typing into the location field, a dropwdown with possible results should be displayed. Have a look at https://demo.mapsmarker.com where you are also able to create markers. If that does not work on your site, have a look into the browser console (F11 / tab console) to check if there are any warnings. Also try to temporarily disable all other plugins to verify if this is caused by a plugin conflict…

When I type an address for “Location”, no dropdown displays. I disabled plugins and still no success. I’ll take a look at the link you’ve provided.

I have exactly the same issue. I type in a location (Brussels for example) bur no dropdown and the marker stays on Vienna.
I am using version 3.10.6.

Did you manage to resolve this in the meanwhile?

Never mind, digging further helped me. I had to activate the Google Places API and now works like a charm.
