I have the Google Maps API setup and it’s searching based on location, but the search is only returning results from the exact city I type in. For example, Chicago Illinois doesn’t return results form Naperville, Illinois (a close suburb). Is there any way to expand the general search area when someone searches by city? Thanks

By default the location search is a simple text search, just like keywords. This is why searching for “Chicago” will not return results other than those for which the location field includes “Chicago”.

If real geolocation like that is required, you might be interested in this third-party plugin, which does “nearby” searches like you mention:

Sorry I can’t be of more help here! ??

That looks perfect, I’ll check it out thanks!
