locations don’t work well

    strange issue: the users do fill in their own locations, and in the wordpress backend, i do see them. But at the front end, all users have my own location in their buddypress profile.

    anybody any idea?

    Sounds like an issue specific to your site.
    Try removing any customization of BP profiles.
    Also try switching momentarily to a WP theme like 2016.

    It appeared to be the buddypress checkin plugin was the problem.
