Locations not showing on map – solution

I just had an issue where addresses that were working fine in Google were not working in the plugin—it didn’t matter what I did, the long/lat wouldn’t come up.

Here’s a possible solution if that happens to you: get the long/lat coordinates by putting your address into google maps then click on directions and copy them from the URL. Then you just need to access your database via PHPMyAdmin for instance and find the wp_store_locator table and pop those coordinates into the relevant fields.

I was trying to put in the locations of large shopping centres so that might have been why the addresses were a little troublesome but the solution above will help anyone in a similar predicament.
