I have the Events Manager plugin installed on a WordPress network. On all sites except one, the Locations feature works as expected. On this one particular site, Locations is in a different menu position, and the screen itself is structured and styled differently. The “Add Location” button is instead titled “Add New” and does not function, leading to a “The link you followed has expired.” error. If I copy the link from another site to add a new location, I get a “Invalid post type.” error.

I have disabled all plugins except Events Manager, and have tried several other themes. I have also tried resetting EM through the network settings, and deleting and reuploading the EM plugin files all to no avail.

What could be causing this malfunction?

  • Hi,

I have the same problem. The problem is that “&” is replaced by “#038;” in the links. For example the add button link is

    https://example.org/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=event&action=edit#038;page=locations

    instead of

    https://example.org/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=event&action=edit&page=locations

The problem is not present on the main site, because it has the native post type interface but only on the other sites.
Is it possible to fix this ?

    Thanks.
