    Hi,
I want to use shortcode to display a map of event locations but [locations_map] shortcode does not work.
the map does not load and only states “Lade Karte…” (loading map).
I can use arguments to change the size of the map, but it remains black. Other shortcodes like [events_list] work.
I tried Firefox and Internet Explorer, tried different themes and different pages. none of which helped.
If I click on a single event from the list, the map and the location of the event is displayed fine.
only the shortcode does not produce a map…

    anyone who could help me?
    …thanks

  • Hi,

This sounds like a jQuery conflict. What happens if you test while running the default WordPress theme and with all other plugins deactivated?

    Hi, thanks for quick reply.
I got one step further… tested different themes and deactivated plugins.
And – it is the “members” plugin.

If I deactivate, maps load. If I activate again, maps don′t load, regardless of the theme.
Now what can we do with this information? is there a workaround or something? I would like to keep the plugin, it′s very useful for my site…
    thanks, Alex

if it’s involves other plugins or themes, you can asked their support if they are loading other jquery version aside from wordpress default or how they are loading map library.
