Lock scale and only allow the globe to be moved

    Hi everyone!

    Before I start a big thank you for this incredible plugin, love it!

    There is one thing I would really love seeing getting implemented:

    Locking the globe in its scale so scrolling does not affect it. I only want to be able to rotate and move the globe but it should always be the same size. Maybe just a select field in the config with these options?:

    Interactions:

    -move and scale

    -move only

    -scale only

    And while I am at it: Are the colors of the globe (water, land etc.) part of the plugin. So could you change the color of the different areas? Just curious because I would love to change the blue to something a little bit more subtle ??

    Hi @davidbohau thank you for using the plugin and for the positive words!
    Right now it won’t be possible to lock the zoom, but we’ll consider it for a future version, thank you for the feedback!
    The colors are part of the images selected for the globe (it’s a normal jpg image) so to change that you would need to change the image that comes with the plugin directly. They are stored in the folder assets/imgs.

    Thank you for your response. Regarding the zoom lock: As a workaround I am trying to block the wheel listener. Can you tell me if these events are added using jQuery or JS? jQuere has the .off() method so this would quite easy, JS not so much, as I would need to know the listener reference to do that.

    Or are these events even handled in the plugin itself, or on some ressources loaded on runtime? I already spent an hour trying to target the listener, but I can’t find it anywhere ??

    We will be adding options to control this to the next update, we already have it in our development version, so you can wait for the next update which should come in a couple of weeks.
