Locked me out of my site

I installed this plugin and made a backup to my server, all relatively pain free. I could access my website this morning but after lunch I was locked out.

After hours of pulling my hair out and trying different ways to get into my site I disabled this plugin using FTP, and I could again log back on.

I don’t know why this happened but this was not a pleasant experience.
