Locked my IP and can not resolve site.

  • Hi,

    I was locked out because I forgot my password and now seems like my router’s ip is locked and can not be unlocked, even after I logged in from another provider and whitelisted my IP.

    Website is not responding at all when I connect to my router that was locked out. Front and Back end.

    Tried deactivating the plugin but no success. I can see the site but not from the same ip anymore.

    Plugin Version 1.3.4

  • I believe you need to access the cpanel and go into the wordpress database, look for the loginizer database and delete your IP from it. Or wait until the time out passes

    Very strange.

    I couldn’t even login to phpMyAdmin from the same IP. I used my phone’s hotspot, logged in and deleted the records with my IP address, except the one in the whitelist but no success…

    Never seen something like this. I restored from a previous backup, reinstalled wordpress and site still not running from this IP. Seems like the host has blocked my IP.

    Anyone experienced this ?

    It could be that you added your IP to cpanels IP blacklist.
